WINTERBOURNE BASSETT WARNING

The farmer is threatening visitors with violence if they go on his land.

From the road, it looks to be approximately between 40 and 50 meters across,
consisting of a ring, and a pattern in the middle made from numerous circles. 
It is not possible to make out what the pattern is from the road, will have to
wait for an overhead.

Interesting Timing!

This formation is of interest because of the fact that many night watchers were watching
this field on the night it appeared. They left the area at dawn apparently seeing no circle.
It was light by this time. The formation was seem at about 7 am by Karen Bishop.

Wow!  So many circles!

There has never been so many circles in a formation since the 2001 formation at Milk Hill.
73 main circles with 168 Grapeshot Circles

This huge formation appeared close to the Neolithic long barrow called Wayland Smithy
where we have witnessed several remarkable formations over the past few years.

On viewing this extraordinary formation from the air, it is clear that its the second formation
to have the largest amount of circles since Milk Hill in 2001, 241 in total.
Also the alignment with Wayland Smithy is also fascinating, as I am sure part of
the arms of the Cross are on a major Ley Line axis which cuts through the corner of
Wayland Smithy (not a direct alignment through the ancient Burial Chamber).
