UFO SIGHTING HOBOKEN, NEW JERSEY AUG 9, 2008
A small group
observed what appeared to be a spinning gray or metallic disc shaped object
over
Before anyone says a thing, let me fill you in on this
area.
This may look like a plane to you, but please realize
that planes in this area of the state are almost always HUGE in the sky because
they are either coming in for a landing or just taking off.
This is an interesting film, though I can foresee a lot
of negative commentary.

saw large fast moving lights about 1/4 mile away flying very low and very fast with absolutely no sound whatsoever. extremely cloudy night lots of lightening. object about 700-1000 ft off ground with 2 huge white lights and one red light. object was below clouds and was view was not obscured in any way. looked triangular in shape, from first seeing to out of viewing range took about a minute and a half. increased military aircraft activity the following days including huge helicopters and jets.

Weds., 9/24/08--I was walking my dog at 5:40 AM and noticed 2 extremely bright lights in the western sky, fairly low, above Caldwell NJ. Thought they were planes, but they were not moving at all. Thought they were planets, but the one was larger than my fist as I used that to measure and even Jupiter, which should have been visible at night in the east, not west in the morning from what I could tell, wasn't that big. There were planes flying in the area and their lights didn't come close to the brightness of these two lights. The smaller object gave me the impression is was further out that the larger. A small plane flew between them, or at least between my line of sight of the two of them and I watched the plane go by for all of 10 seconds. I turned back to the two objects, the larger one was gone. The smaller one must have been moving directly away from me since it appeared to be shrinking. The entire event lasted only about 3 minutes. It was still dark enough that there were some stars visible but not as bright as these two things were. Any other reports made that day? Can't figure out at all what it was since the science teachers where I work said there shouldn't have been any planets visible in that area and not that size.

I saw UFO's over West New York, NJ tonight, Sunday, October 12, 2008, at about 6:30 p.m.!!!
This was the strangest thing I've ever experienced! A large, black boomerang looking object moved southwest to northeast. It was malleable, changing position/shape like it was a kind of serpent.
Behind it were black circles which flew after it.
I was stunned and then noticed when they left over my building that a few more black circles rose from the southwest and moved northeast.
I called the West New York, NJ police at 6:36 p.m. to report it. When I was on the phone, some more rose from the southwest.
The cop told me to photograph them. I yelled for my friend to get my camera. The small black circles did not register, unfortunately, in the fading light.
WHAT were these things? The boomerang/serpent object was large. The others were just black circles, marble sized.
I am wracking my brain wondering what they were. I'm going to check the internet and news for any info. Surely, lots of people must have seen what I saw. This is the New York City, Hudson River area.
I will NEVER take lightly a UFO report again. This is real.

This is to someone named Jim who reported seeing a boomerang shaped UFO accompanied by round objects on Oct. 12, 2008. I'm from Bellevue Washington and on April 18th I was on my stairmaster working out and looking out the window. We live on a hill overlooking the I 90 East channel bridge and on the West end of the bridge I saw a large delta shaped object hovering directly over the bridge. It would have been at least 5 or 6 semi trucks from one side to the other and the length of it extended beyond each side of the 8 or more lane bridge. The orange object rose up in the northwest direction and was followed by multiple large silver round objects. The appeared almost gambol after the orange craft. Sort of playful looking. There were also two stationary more balloon shaped objects which were dark red and the word "sentinals" comes to mind. The circular objects were each about a quarter of the size of the delta shaped object. My husband also saw this but he is very guarded and will only say, "Yes, they were UFO's". They all just floated silently towards the NW and disappeared. We are about 10 miles from Sea Tac airport and I can't imagine anyone getting permission to put these things in the airspace where jets come in for a landing. Jim's report sounded similar to ours except ours was at 3:15PM. I would love to know what these were and where they came from. I am a college educated RN and my husband was an editor at a large newspaper for 20 years. We both have good eyesight and were not drinking. This has been very upsetting to me and I'm having trouble forgetting it. If they are from somewhere else in the universe, they sure aren't trying to hide!

Thanks for the email. I'm fascinated by Lee's account. I've been thinking constantly about what I saw and have found myself suddenly taking seriously the world of UFO's.
And, yes, I relate to being college educated and still seeing what I saw. I have two college degrees and teach High School English here in New Jersey. I've never to my knowledge hallucinated, LOL.
There was no color to the objects I saw, other than black. My rational, "get real" New York/New Jersey in-bred cynicism tells me they "must have" been some type of balloons.
But that would be impossible. Balloons don't move in that steady formation. These objects moved with deliberation and rapidly to the east. And when they got to my building on the Palisade cliffs overlooking the Hudson River and the New York City skyline, the "mother ship," as I jokingly refer to it, stopped and hovered for a bit.
I found another UFO report from New York on Oct. 3 and that person posted a photo. The black circles in the photo do resemble the ones I saw. But "the mother ship" is not there.
I wish I could describe the big object better. Think of a boomerang, a V shaped military looking craft, which then fluttered and morphed and twisted in the sky.
There are at least 10 planes in the sky at any time around here. Lear jets, commercial airliners, single engine planes, blimps, even military aircraft patrolling or practicing along the Hudson River. You name it, it's here, or in the distance. But I've never seen anything that even remotely resembled what I saw yesterday.
That's why it stunned me and that's why I called the police (even though I was worried the cop would think I was a nut).

It was October 28, 2008.. I was in a car about 8:26 p.m and i was at bar x.. I was just staring outside the window and saw a red light with a fire around it.. It was flying for like 8 seconds my friend saw it to..

I just wanted to share my experience. I was outside in the pool with a friend. I live in Bayville, NJ. After a helicopter buzzed by I noticed a very small round craft in the sky. It was so far away. Trying to logically rationalize this, I was able to rule out a plane because it moved to slow. The encounter lasted about 10 minutes. It wasn't a helicopter because they cannot go that high in the sky. It was way farther than an average plane going over my house. I ruled out a balloon because they continuously go up and this moved from west to east. I have never seen this before and I am reaching out because it looked very similar to the Hoboken footage from 2 yrs prior. I tried to get a picture but it was too far away for my camera to pick up. Please leave a comment if u saw this today august 14, 2010.
