Many UFO sightings go unseen so I've begun to collect them as I bump into them on the Internet.  I'll continue to do this about every few days or each week.  This will always be titled - UFO Sightings Around the World - Sight Unseen, which will also be a tag for you to click from the sidebar rather than having to seek throughout the blog.

Daylight photo of a possible black triangle UFO passing overhead IN, US

On good weather days, I take random pictures of the sky. I then down load the pictures to my computer to see if there are any unknowns. A picture taken on Aug. 8, 2008 at 12:56 PM shows what looks like a black triangle UFO. I did not see or hear the object when taking the photo.

The UFO was in the NE at approximately 70 to 80 degrees elevation. The weather conditions were perfect with a blue sky and a few clouds. The object is in the upper left with a cloud above it. The top of a maple tree is in the lower left corner of the picture.

Witness videotaped Brightly Lit Unidentified Object In Sky FL, US

Witness Pamela Lawrence reported an unusual sighting above her home in Port St. Joe to F.I. Barbara Delozier, in which witness has approximately 19 minutes of video footage.

Pam reported that she cannot sleep at night, so often times, she is up late into the early morning doing things around the house. One night in mid-October, 2006, she was taking out the trash and a brightly lit object moving in the sky caught her eye. She went inside to get her video camera to tape it.

She described the object as diamond shaped, by placing her index fingers and thumbs together to form a diamond with her hands to show the shape she saw in the sky. However, on the video, the object appeared round.

Pam said the object had red and blue lights revolving in the middle of it, but that sometimes, they revolved so quickly that the lights looked green.

The object appeared to come in close to her then move back. It basically stayed in the same position, sort of hovered in the sky above her house, she said. Pam kept video taping it until it disappeared.

She was very excited about seeing this object and believes that it was a UFO, or alien visitor ship. She has shown it to some friends, but hadn't known about MUFON to report it.

See my UFO here: I made a short movie.  Let it play through more then one time as it will be smoother the second time and give a better idea of what it's supposed to represent. O, I don't have a very good animation program so this movie is not compressed and as a result is a large file. Sorry! Also, the movie is looped but I only saw the object cross the sky one time per event, not as the movie makes it appear.

I know, many folks think seeing things in the night sky that can't be explained are examples of an overactive imagination or just a pure lack of prudence.  I often thought the same thing especially being a member of the Air Force and an amateur astronomer as well.  I find myself quite regularly scanning the skies with my Mead telescope as well as binoculars usually after 11:00 PM EST, it is the vastness that intrigues me.

Several nights ago (July 24th to be exact) I was looking into the starry sky around 11:30 PM and noticed a bright object moving from my right to my left.  The actual shape of this object was impossible to ascertain as it was quite high and I had only binoculars at the time.  It moved at a speed that I would estimate as being easily twice that of a jet airliner. It crossed the visible sky in about 10 to 15 seconds and it was gone. T here was no sound, and no trail as you'd expect from a meteor or a related object that has contacted our atmosphere. At first I thought maybe it was a satellite or space junk reflecting light from the sun.  I kind of put the issue to rest.

A week later I was again looking into the same section of sky about the same time and to my amazement, I saw the exact same object in about the same piece of sky. I was sure that it was a satellite or junk. Just to be sure, the next night I went out at 11:20 PM and watched again. Ten minutes or so had passed when I saw the object for a third time, but to my extreme surprise, this time it was traveling from my left to my right.

I'm currently at a loss for explaining what I have seen. I will be watching more carefully in the near future and may buy a good video camera and tripod setup in the hopes of actually filming this event.

I have made an animated movie of what I saw. It is of course not the actual object but gives a really good idea of what I'm talking about. In the movie the object moves left to right, which it actually did the last time I saw it. As I said, the first two times I saw this it moved right to left.

I'd really be interested in hearing from anyone else who has seen this and may know what it is.

I was at Washington D.C. and I took a picture of the capital (top) and it came out. DC, US

I went to the JR. NYLC and then I went to the capital after the conference with my best friend.When we were leaving the capital I took a picture of the top of the capital.Their was nothing,well at least I didn't see anything. Then my dad watching the pictures and he saw the U.F.O.

Is it a real UFO?

UFO appeared in photo only seen as photo on PC - IRELAND

My daughter photographed me at Strokestown House in Co. Roscommon, Ireland on July 12th 2008 at around 11:00. Later, inspecting photos on PC (Exilim Casio S600) I noticed funny shape over my head - zoom showed sort of Saturn-like object Below and to the left was smaller ball like form - that might be camera blemish. On other photo at that house, a small sphere seemed to float over house. The sphere was more focussed, while Saturn object somewhat un-focused -unclear if from distance or movement. It is just possible it may be a bird - though bird profiles I've found on-line don't really match - I was hoping a photo expert could distinguish the possibilities.

Unidentifiable object appears in image  EG

This object was not observed in the field as it was found in image, once I returned from the trip. It was silent. The EXIF info shows focal length of lens as 17mm, which in bright daylight such as this should place everything from 2 feet to infinity in focus. Shutter speed was 1/250th of a second.

There is no lens dirt on the prior or post photograph taken within minutes. Artifact is inconsistent with dust on the sensor. What can this be? Original RAW photo can be provided.
