VIDEOS: GHOST HUNTERS VISIT FORMER BROTHEL - CARRIAGE INN
SCI FI CHANNEL'S HIGHLY POPULAR GHOST HUNTERS HAS ALREADY HELD ITS FALL PREMIERE AND IS IN FULL SWING.
Built in 1760, the Inn was at one time a brothel. Many, who have seen more than one spirit at the site, believe that the hauntings may date back to that time.
One sighting is that of a woman dressed in a white period costume. She appears to like to hang around what is now the formal dining area. However, she isn't the only spirit that has been seen there. As many as 10 separate spirits have supposedly been sighted in a single sitting.
Another spirit, that of a man dressed all in black, has been spotted in the Inn's bar. However, the most disturbing sightings have been that of a young girl with a partially burned face in the banquet area. She is also not alone. Many staff members and patrons have reported hearing the voice of a young boy in that area. He has been known to tug at the clothing of those whose attention he desires, as well as whispering in their ears.
The staff has also reported feelings of uneasiness in the cellar area. Others have reported hearing strange sounds coming from the attic. Severe cold spots have been experienced all over the building.
