Reported: 2008-10-04 Sighted: 2008-10-03 – NEW PALTZ, NEW YORK
Hello, my name is Vincent Sheppard. I was recently on a retreat with the organization I work for up in Mohonk Mountain Hotel. Mohonk Mountain is located in New Paltz, New York in the Catskill Mountains. While I was there I took several pictures with my cell phone camera of the beautiful country and the surrounding mountains along the Hudson River. When I got home and started to view the pics I had taken. I noticed that one of the pics appears to have something strange captured in it. I figured I would send it to MUFON and see what you guys think. This picture has not been altered in anyway. I took this picture, uploaded it from my cell phone to my email account, and when I got home downloaded it and several others. The picture that I'm sending you appears to have three red objects and a plane or jet chasing it. I know this sounds crazy, but please see for yourself. I would be happy to discuss this further if you have any questions.
Reported: 2008-10-04 Sighted: 2008-09-15 – FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA
There isn't a lot of description I can give, other than I saw three light-emitting objects hovering over the ocean, maybe a mile or two from where I was, off of Fort Lauderdale's beach on September 15, 2008, and that I took several pictures of which I hereby attach three (3).
The first picture, sequentially numbered DSC00066 by my camera, shows one bright round bulb-light object, which could erroneously be taken for Venus, and two fuzzy orange objects at the top-left and bottom-left of the picture.
The next image, numbered DSC00067, doesn't show the top-left orange object anymore, shows the one at the bottom-left considerably up and above from its position in the previous picture, and the bright round bulb-light object has not moved.
At the last photograph, # DSC00070, the orange-colored objects had disappeared from sight, and the bright round bulb-light object had moved up and to the left of its previous position, now displaying a strange earring-like shape, emitting bright yellow light from its top and bright white light from its bottom. This item, when magnified, suggests a horizontal dish-like shape with small window-like lights on both of its sides.
The untouched files, as transferred directly from my camera to my PC are available for analysis. I would greatly appreciate expert or sound comments into what it is that I saw that evening. I'm no expert, just a curious individual.

As I was driving, I was taking pictures of landscape outside my vehicle window.
When I blew up picture you can see the distinct outline of the object. There was no plane or helicopter in the sky. Thought it could be a bug but as you can see in the picture Kansas just experienced an ice storm so to cold for bugs to exist.
Previous experience: In May 1996 my wife and I had a very intimate experience with a UFO that was about 200 ft from the ground - very low. We were traveling from Gt. Bend, KS to Larnerd on main highway at around 9:30 pm. An object the shape of blimp or cigar slowly flew directly over the highway. The object was silent and had lights underneath the object.
All the cars on the road stopped and watched the object as it flew overhead. I made a u-turn on the road facing back towards the highway. The object slowly flew 2-miles down Radium rd and stopped. My wife was really scared and wanted to go home.
I headed about 2-3 miles back to town then decided to make another u-turn and had back towards Larnerd. What ever the object was darted out about 2-3 miles ahead of us and hovered parallel to the highway. I was jolted by this experience and we made another u-turn and headed back home.
The object followed us for about 5 minutes then disappeared. I am not sure exactly what the object was but was definitely not normal. My family and friends have for years witnessed sightings in the area.
Reported: 2008-10-07 Sighted: 2008-10-06 - COLORADO
Over the past two weeks I’ve seen several bright star-like objects here in Colorado, in places they shouldn't be, and have even reported them with MUFON. Just tonight I got video (vhs sorry), but also got pics of an insanely bright light that hovered just at dusk and just as it got dark, about 30 minutes. It was brighter than Venus and at least appeared to be two to three times larger than it and any other star, not to mention that a star or planet wouldn't be at this spot in the sky, especially in the western sky, low, at 7pm. I've attached a picture that I uploaded, cropped and "auto fixed" in MS Office picture manager so you could see the brightness. The picture was taken at 10x optical zoom.
In the picture, there appears to be a perfectly shaped star light above it, that wasn't visible with the naked eye, though in the binoculars, it appeared to "spit" colors off of itself, which I guess is what is at the top corner.
It looked like an orb in the sky, and pulsed, not flashed, but pulsed like a heartbeat. As you'll see, my hand wasn't perfectly steady at the moment it pulsed, so it looks longer in the picture than it did in the sky.
It stayed in that spot for almost 20 - 30 minutes and then was completely gone and away from that spot, heading west into the mountains, in less than a minute or two. There's no way it was a plane. I've never seen anything like it, so close and bright, just after sunset especially.
Sighted: August 18, 2008 - VAIL, COLORADO
While recently on vacation in Vail, Colorado for five days with my girlfriend, we decided to go horseback riding at Beaver Creek, Colorado. There were a total of six of us horseback riding in the area of Beaver Lake located in Avon, Colorado on August 19th, 2008. There were five guests and one guide who left the Beaver Creek Stables at approximately 09:45 hours and rode up to Beaver Lake.
We arrived around 11:30 hours and I shot some photographs of the horses as they were tied up to a post. After eating a box lunch and fishing for trout in the Beaver Lake, we mounted up and started headed back down the mountain to the stables around 13:15 hours. The skies were bright, blue, and sunny. The ride was uneventful with nothing out of the ordinary seen or heard.
Upon returning home and reviewing the digital photographs, I found two photographs that show a very distinct disk or saucer shaped object just above one of the mountains. The images were taken with a Nikon D80 high-resolution camera.
The first image that captured the saucer shaped object was at approximately 11:38 hours (7023) and the second photograph to capture the saucer shaped object was at approximately 13:30 hours (7094).
Please note that the camera clock is set for EST and was not changed.

I went outside to take a smoke break. Observed what I thought was an airplane flying towards my house. I asked my spouse if we lived near an airport. She said no. I told her to come see this airplane flying towards the house. She sat on the couch watching TV and wouldn't come, so I told her that if it wasn't an airplane then it must be a UFO. She got up to come and see what I was talking about. The objects just sat there in the sky. Then the objects separated and one shot off heading north and then disappeared. She told me to grab the camera, and when I went for the camera and made it back, the other object sat there for a while and then just disappeared. The picture I am submitting isn't good, because by the time I got the camera ready, the object was disappearing. It is not the bright light, but to the left of the street light is the object as it was disappearing.

A friend and I were on our way home from a photography workshop in Jackson, and stopped at the City of Rocks National Reserve in Idaho for the night to camp and shoot some night photos. After a while of shooting, my friend told me to come to where he was and pointed out what looked like a star that was changing colors from a pinkish color to green to white, blue and yellow. We both thought the color changing was strange, but he told me to keep watching.
A moment later, the color changing light moved very erratically up and to the right. The movement was similar to what a sheet of paper would do if you dropped it, only moving upwards instead of down. We both watched it for a while, trying to figure out what it was. We thought it might be an airplane or helicopter, but the movement was not like any type of aircraft that I know of. The colors were also not that of aircraft that I know of. Sometimes the movement was kind of slow, others it moved a great distance very quickly.
We watched it for a while, and after a while we both had to get some sleep, and went to bed. We both thought about reporting it, but figured nobody would believe us, and think that since we are photographers that we were trying to pull off some sort of hoax. We were both very confused just trying to figure out what it could be.
It wasn't until I talked to my brother about it that I decided to report it. He told me it sounded similar to the lights sighted over Stephenville, Texas, recently. I looked for photos of this event online, and found something that was very similar to what I had shot, and decided that I should report the incident.
The first photo is shot with a 300mm lens fully zoomed in for 5 seconds. The second photo is just a cropped image to enlarge detail. No editing was done to either photo, except for cropping of the second image.
