The Othersiders is an upcoming live action program on Cartoon Network's CNReal venue (reality shows) and set to premiere on June 17, 2008 at 8pm. Five California teenagers take a scientific approach while taking on real missions to explore places filled with unexplained phenomenon as they check out some very scary locations, complete with Ghost Hunters-type equipment.
This new live-action half-hour reality series from the CNReal offers up a little ghost hunting for the teen set.
From what I've witnessed in these trailers I'll be watching and I'm 57 - far from my teen years. It looks real good for a group of kids. Everybody starts somewhere.
At the end of each episode the teens vote as to whether they feel a location is haunted. Four episodes have been ordered and three are listed below.
The Othersiders will focus on kids who are dealing with issues such as the paranormal, ghosts, and other scary subjects in the vein of ghost hunters. They are ready to take on the challenge of going into haunted sites by researching their jobs, preparing the tech, and going into the haunted place for a night.
Episode 1: Lincoln Heights Jail - June 17 8 & 9pm, 18th 7pm, 20th 9pm, 21st 6pm 23rd 4:30pm. - The group investigates the Lincoln Heights Jail, said to be haunted by the ghosts of tortured inmates.
Episode 2: Queen Mary: - June 24, 2009
The Othersiders enter the Queen Mary, notorious for its paranormal activity.
Episode 3: Mojave Airport Boneyard: - July 1, 2009
The Othersiders visit a desert junkyard for worn-out planes.
I'm guessing on this one. I know there are 4 episodes and the only one not mentioned is their visit to Linda Vista Hospital.
